Beautiful tiles from Petit Pan
After spending years making beautiful fabrics, Petit Pan is now making some beautiful floor tiles. I would love to see them applied in a space. I am sure it will be beautiful. For me, the blue polka dots.

Lately in my Etsy shop
It's been 3 years now that I own a shop on Etsy and I have to say that I love it. Etsy is a huge platform which makes it difficult at time to get your shop noticed because we are millions to use it but if you're up for a challenge, you'll want to take better pictures of your products and work harder to show what you've got and it will pay off!! Becase I am a pretty bad photographer I purchased a great camera and tried to take better pictures and I'm still trying and learning. So far, I think that my shop looks much better than it used to. Here's a few of my last creations as well as ( a lot of) new pictures.

The vintage touch
As time flies and fashion styles are constantly changing, we note often that the vintage style has a strong presence on the front of the scene. It goes the same way with interior decoration. A vintage piece of furniture here, a white rug there, a tufted leather couch and a few pillows et voila!! But when it comes to the world of the kiddos, it's a complete different thing because the safety issue always rise up and mixing and matching is not as simple as I described it sooner. Twiggy and Lou last creations
While shopping for fabrics in Manhattan, I fell in love with this soft purple and gold cotton fabric. It inspired me so much that I couldn't resist and buy it.
Naturally, I had to make a cloud mobile out of it but this time, much larger than the first I used to make.
Now being sold on Etsy.
Pendant que je cherchais des tissus a Manhattan, Je suis tombee amoureuse de ce cotton mauve et or. Il m'a tellement inspiré que je n'ai pas pu resister et l'ai acheté.
Naturellement, j'ai du créer un mobile nuage avec mais cette fois ci beaucoup plus grand que les précédents. Maintenant en vente sur Etsy.

Marie-Laure Bouwens is a Mother and an architect. She lives in Brooklyn, NYC, with her family.
