We've stepped way too quickly into fall. It feels like if winter is right here waiting for us around the corner. Is it going to be a cold one? Is it going to snow a lot? These are the questions that are on my mind. I love the snow but dislike feeling stuck inside so let's wait and see how it turns.
In the mean time I have to admit that it is hard for me to accept that the summer is over. So naturally when I surf the web and fall on a house that says "I'll see you next summer", I can't help but dream about how it would feel to wake up one sunny morning and go enjoy a breakfast with my family in its sumptuous garden. I found that house on the blog Dettagli Home Decor. I love the details of this house. Its architecture, the light that visits it and the soft colors that were chosen to immortalize it.

Our vacation in Woodstock, New York
This year, we didn't have the budget to go out of the country so we decided to stay in New York but to explore a bit. It took me some time to find the house that was going to be the one for us but once I found it, I booked it immediately. I always wanted to go to Woodstock and drive to Saugerties to see the Lighthouse so it was a bit like a dream come true. The girls had a blast and I highly recommend that house we rented, you can find it here.

Tiny House
Interior Designer Jessica Helgerson has a lot of great projects in her porfolio. From a country house is the region of Burgundy in France to refurnishing a recently remodeled Brownstone in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, I am not surprised if she gets clients all over the planet. Her style is impeccable and she just topped my list of favorite interior designers. When a house attracts you, it doesn't matter if it's a large one or a tiny one. This is the case for this house and it's simply beautiful. It's only 540 square feet and was remodeled using nearly exclusively reclaimed materials. The story is long about this little house that was build in the early 1940's so I let you read it's story on Jessica Helgerson's website and for now, here are the pictures...
