Vintage kid's room

I have a big crush on vintage pieces here and there in a house but now, I may have a huge one on this bedroom. I can't believe how well it's been styled. The mini sewing machine and the wooden kitchen... So many details make my heart melt. I found it on a blog named Smile and Wave.

New Star Mobile from Twiggy and Lou

I've been working a lot recently and couldn't find time to do anything else than work. But when Thanksgiving came, it was the perfect time for me to take a small break and do what I like most: Create.
I had a mobile design in mind for a long time and couldn't wait to start working on it. I sketched it a few months ago and finally made a prototype, then, this white star. I personally like it a lot. What do you think? It will add it soon to my Etsy shop but this one is reserved to someone special :-)

I ♥ this room

I am finally writing a new post!! Yeahhh!!!! I thought this day would never happen, at least not before the end of the holidays. I am happily busy but missing my blog. So today, as our Thanksgiving diner came to an end I take the time to share with you my latest find and inspiration. Looking at the big picture, I like this room. The wall paper with the mountain background is amazing but what melts my heart is that little market stand. Who didn't play for hours when they were a child pretending to own a shop. It was indeed one of my favorite and now that my oldest daughter is almost 6, I want one for her so she can play with her sister. Without being a mean critique, I think that all there is on the market right now are hideous and not promising as they should be. Such a toy should be a platform for dreams and I didn't find anything that matches this criteria. So I am probably going to make one myself and the one you see on this post will be my inspiration. I ♥ it

Lennon and Maisy

It is beautiful when we feel the inspiration coming from within, but when it comes from two young and powerful souls, I find it even more beautiful. Enjoy.

Did you noticed the silver string lights?

Halloween vampire cape

As both my daughters want to dress like vampires for Halloween, I was requested by them to create a cape that will be girly (with pink!). Easy!!!!! We went to the fabric store to pick some black cotton fabric and Mia-Lou chose a pink square of wool felt. I took it from there and tried to make two capes that hopefully both of them will love. Result, both love their cape. Yay!!!

Yeah!!!!

La Petite Magazine issue 9 is out!

I follow all sort of magazine but like everyone else I have my favorites. Milk, Papier mache, Babiekins and of course La Petite.
In the latest issue of La Petite, architect Marie Laure-Bouwens from La Maison de Loulou strikes again. Her design is simple yet well thought and composed. On this one I will pat myself on the back because Marie-Laure used my Star Garlands to complete her beautiful design :))))))
Take a look!
